What happened to the left-liberal, so-called mainstream international press, the media in the 21st century? century? How did we get to the point where we are now suspicious of all news, information, and commentary that appears in the broader left-liberal Western media? At all, do we have any idea what the function of international media is today in the 21st century? century?
In recent years, many people have written about how the press is now the fourth branch of power, next to the government, the parliament and the courts. This statement is therefore not true, because the media do not have official, institutional decision-making rights, like constitutional institutions - in other words, they do not have constitutional power.
Others claim that the media has become a kind of "fifth column", and there is already a lot of truth in this: the foreign, left-liberal press and media operating in Hungary, as well as the pseudo-civilian organizations (NGOs), are really operating according to foreign interests, while apparently the Hungarian they present themselves as authentic informants of public opinion.
However, I myself believe that it is even more accurate to call the left-liberal media an ideological and intellectual violence organization of the global elite, the mainstream international circles. The liberal media has become a political executive institution, which carries out the intentions of the global mainstream and mercilessly disables those persons, politicians, governments, civil organizations and countries who are not willing to fall in line. As a kind of ideological, cultural and worldview police, it strikes down those who do not act in accordance with the will of the political mainstream, and in the abstract sense arrests those who do not act in accordance with the will of the political mainstream. It condemns, despises, ridicules, humiliates everyone, be it an individual or a government, imprisons it in a mental dungeon or prison. For a long time now, the liberal media does not inform, but prescribes how to think, and uses intellectual coercion tools on everyone, with the aim of making them think the way progressives think.
Do we still remember the days - they were not too far away - when we thought of the BBC, CNN and their peers as the champions of truth and objectivity and impartiality? Do we remember that even in the 1990s, and perhaps even in the 2000s, almost everyone talked about these organs as examples and ideal models to be followed?
Although we can see it today: the Western "ideal-typical" model, the model of independent and impartial information, functioned for a few decades purely due to the lucky combination of historical circumstances. This was thanks to the fact that during the Cold War, the West had to prove to the world, against the Soviet Union, that it was far superior to the communist system not only economically, but also politically, culturally, and in terms of press freedom. This is why politics restrained itself, this is why the big media moguls, the masters of the global market, allowed objective information to the press (mainly, of course, regarding the criticism of the communist system), and this is why pseudo-civilian organizations and movements did not threaten.
However, the turnaround happened. After the fall of the communist system, the liberal and global ruling circles were no longer interested in the objectivity of the press and media, in impartial and independent information. They want to create a new, global world order, and to achieve this they need media that prepare and prepare people in all parts of the world for the development of a cosmopolitan world society in which the "brave new world" will shape everyday life. People should therefore not be informed about the facts, but shaped and transformed in accordance with the new, global vision.
In 2017, Zbigniew Brzezinski, the former chief national security adviser, and Mika Brzezinski, the daughter of one of the founders of the Trilateral Commission, Mika Brzezinski, host of the MSMBC TV channel, made an amazing speech in addition to David Rockefeller. In a program, he complained about the allegedly false facts spread by President Trump, and how Donald Trump can control the facts and what people believe in this way. "[Although] that's our job," he said unhappily. In other words, the task of the media is to control what people believe. The former president of CBS News, Richard Sabant, put it this way a few years ago: "Our job is not to give people what they want, but to give them what we think is important."
The international media and press adapted very quickly to the appearance of the global financial elite in the guise of a liberal ideology. Why? Because it was then revealed in black and white that the owners of the largest and most decisive media and press empires are one by one in the hands of global financial gurus, they control the content, the formation of opinions, the ideology and the worldview. In this highly monopolized media ownership system, for example, the entire American media is in the hands of six large owners, five of which are clearly representatives of the mainstream globalist-liberal system of views. In Western Europe, and in terms of their scope, large media empires dominate the field, such as Bertelsmann or Axel Springer and Ringier - the latter have now merged - and these are also clearly representatives and advocates of the globalist worldview.
This is already a new age, the age of fake news, the age of false news, the purpose of which is to disseminate and constantly slander, so that vulnerable citizens and civilians take note and accept as the only reality the creation of global world governance and world society as a new, created reality . At this point, it is enough to refer to the intimate conversation of CNN technical director Charlie Chester in April 2021, recorded with a hidden microphone and camera, during which he said that their goal in the US presidential election campaign was of course not to provide information, but to discredit Trump and promote Biden's victory. This is pure propaganda, he said. In the latter, he is wrong: this is not pure propaganda, but pure politics, and party politics at that.
But here are also the latest examples, which our newspaper presented based on the recordings sent to the editorial office. Andrej Nosko, the former director of the Soros Foundation, spoke about the fact that there is a biased campaign against Hungary and Poland in the media, and that uninformed journalists influenced by NGOs paint a distorted picture of our country. It is a simple reality, he said, that basically left-liberal people work in the media, and this is due to what can be called selection bias. Mátyás Kálmán, a former employee of 24.hu and Index.hu, spoke about how various NGOs manipulate or even bribe foreign journalists, who in many cases write completely distorted stories about the situation in Hungary. As an example, he mentioned Amnesty International, which belongs to the Soros network, among the NGOs that want to strongly influence and control journalists - apparently with great "success". Dalibor Rohac, a staff member of the American Enterprise Institute, stated, among other things, that Brussels, working hand in hand with the press and NGOs, applies double standards to Hungary.
In summary, the global media has become an ideological police that has introduced global censorship. There is no other way, we have to build local and global samizdat instead. After communism, we have to start building again from the bottom up.
