1,387 new infected people were confirmed, thus increasing the number of identified infected people in Hungary to 1,807,285 since the beginning of the epidemic. 59 people died, most of them old, chronic patients, so the number of those who died rose to 44,495. The number of those vaccinated was 6,397,623, of which 6,176,191 received the second, 3,822,108 the third, and 226,299 received the fourth vaccination. - announced koronavirus.gov.hu on Tuesday.
It was written on the government portal: the number of people who have recovered is constantly increasing, currently 1,636,781, the number of active infected people has decreased to 126,009.
2,766 coronavirus patients are being cared for in the hospital, of which 114 are on ventilators. They added: the country is in the landing stage of the fifth wave of the epidemic, which is why the government introduced the epidemic restrictions, and the obligation to wear masks also ended.
Vaccination is still continuously available, and vaccination campaign days will continue every week in March at hospital vaccination points, they said.
