So many people have never told the left, Brussels and the world that they do not want to compromise Hungary's sovereignty and freedom, and that they want peace, Jr. told Origo, analyzing the events of March 15. Zoltán Lomnici, according to whom the national camp showed its strength again, and this is of great importance. The Századvég expert, one of the organizers of the Peace March, also highlighted that the left failed again, unsuccessfully mobilizing on the national holiday.

19 days before the parliamentary election, supporters of the national camp held a Peace March again, while the left announced a rally. The difference between the two events was huge: hundreds of thousands of people went to the Peace March, while only a few thousand went to the left-wing demonstration.

Zoltán Lomnici Jr., one of the organizers of the Peace March, the legal expert of Századvég, stated that the creed of the Peace Marches of all times, including the current one, is the unwavering support for our sovereignty, that we will not give up on 48, that for us, peace, freedom and understanding are a priority. and in economic terms, there should be stability and predictability in Hungary.

According to him, this is especially relevant because of the Russian-Ukrainian war. "We are going through difficult days, weeks, months; by the time we had recovered from the grip of the pandemic of the past two years, an armed conflict broke out in our eastern neighborhood," he said, adding that

IN SUCH A SITUATION, THE PEACE MARCH AND VIKTOR ORBÁN'S SPEECH HAD A SOOTHING EFFECT.

He considered it gratifying that the participants of the march were all aware of the need for peace, as well as the fact that HUNGARY CANNOT DRAFT INTO WAR. At the same time, they also knew that creating peace and security in such a situation is far from easy.

"That is why it is of great importance that so many people have never been to the Peace March, so many have never told the left, Brussels and the world that they do not want to give up even one iota of Hungary's sovereignty and freedom, and that they want peace, as well as political and economic stability," assessed the participants . number and weight of the event jr. Zoltán Lomnici.

Turning to the person of Viktor Orbán, he underlined that "the brave young politician who laid the foundation stone of national sovereignty in 1989 with his speech on Heroes' Square, in 2022, as prime minister, will now protect the same national sovereignty from the domestic and international representatives of the left who are inciting war". . He sees that one of the most important messages of the prime minister's speech was that

HUNGARY WILL DO EVERYTHING TO PROTECT ITS SECURITY AND THE SECURITY OF EUROPE.

As it has done, for example, on the southern border since 2015, and it can do this with its national defense, border protection and a partially defensive humanitarian strategy. “It helps when needed, but it is able to protect its independence and constitutional identity; he will do everything to ensure that Hungary and Hungarianness survive for another thousand years," he added.

"Is it possible as a Hungarian or a Central European to ignore or trivialize the situation that has reached our country as well? With our basic instinct and solidarity, we realize that we cannot turn our worried heads away and we must act to help those in trouble. We are here, we are at home, for us this world, this region is our wider country, and now we must make the best of all our actions and decisions. But of course, let's not underestimate the risks - the risks that also point to strategic calm - which we have to take into account and take action," he emphasized to Origo that Viktor Orbán also sent this message with his speech.

Zoltán Lomnici Jr. emphasized that the left would irresponsibly shut off the Russian gas tap, terminate Hungary's vital economic relations, and send soldiers and weapons to Ukraine, seriously endangering Hungary and the Transcarpathian Hungarians.

"They clearly lack strategic consideration and would put our country in danger. They do not have mature routines and useful political knowledge about crisis situations. They have repeatedly failed in government, and they still lack a sense of national responsibility ," he commented on the political performance of the Gyurcsánys, adding that their attitude would worsen and escalate the situation.

Donald Tusk, the main speaker of the March 15 movement of the alliance, "a politician from Brussels who has been defeated many times over" . The expert believes that Tusk's invitation has message value: the left is trying to drive a wedge not only between Hungarians and Hungarians, but also between Poles and Hungarians.

But the experiment failed, and it turned out that the left doesn't really know how to mobilize, and how to jump together. "Once the crisis is over, Poles will again join the next Jubilee Peace March in large numbers," concluded Mr. Zoltán Lomnici.
