The meaning and purpose of the Hungarian state is to preserve the Hungarian nation and improve the quality of life of the Hungarian people, said the Deputy Prime Minister responsible for national policy, church affairs and nationalities on Sunday at the thanksgiving service of the renovated church of the Reformed Parish in Túrkeve.
Zsolt Semjén, the president of the KDNP, said: the quality of life requires knowing the nature of man. The physical, mental and spiritual complexity of man must be taken into account, and the country must be shaped in such a way that man can live and develop his full personality.
The Christian Democrat politician pointed out: that is why the state supports, for example, sports in relation to the body, science, culture and art in relation to the spirit, and also the renewal of churches in the spiritual relation. Since 2010, more than three thousand churches have been renovated and more than two hundred churches have been built in the Carpathian Basin.
Sándor Kovács, the Fidesz member of parliament of constituency number 3 of Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county, the Fidesz-KDNP representative candidate in the April election, said: the Reformed people built a church, a school, a kindergarten. Serious work also took place during the renovation of the Reformed church in Túrkeve.
