In order to protect Hungarian families, the government insists on the gasoline price freeze, but with simpler conditions and will make the subsidies for fuel stations available sooner. In order to guarantee the security of supply, gas stations that are open receive a contribution of HUF 20 per liter in advance.
Thanks to the once-extended gasoline price freeze introduced last November, Hungarians pay one of the lowest prices for fuel in Europe, just like gas and electricity. The government supports the maintenance of the functionality of filling stations in several ways.
ON THE BASIS OF PREVIOUS AGREEMENTS WITH BUSINESS ORGANIZATIONS, COMPANIES CAN CLAIM HUF 20 SECURITY OF SUPPLY SUBSIDIES PER LITER

According to the recent decision made in order to make payments as soon as possible, the basis of the subsidy is not this year's but 80 percent of last spring's monthly fuel turnover. For gas stations opened after March 1, 2021, the basis of the subsidy is three times 80 percent of the average monthly sales of the previous year.
PAYMENTS ARE THEREFORE NOT ACCORDING TO POST-EXCLUSION, BUT IN ONE AMOUNT, IN ADVANCE, AND MAY ARRIVE TO THE OPERATORS AS ALREADY AS NEXT WEEK.
Based on the government decision published in the Magyar Közlöny, the support can be used for three months, the months of March, April and May 2022.
Gas stations that require support undertake to remain open continuously and to continue to employ the same number of employees. In addition to the safety of the fuel supply, the measure also guarantees the protection of jobs.
PETROL TRAVELERS CAN SUBMIT THE APPLICATION ONLINE ON FRIDAY, MARCH 25, 2022 FROM 8 A.M. AT IFKA'S AREA DESIGNED FOR THIS PURPOSE.
The disbursement of the aid is expected to begin next week.
