Hungary is acting in relation to the war in Ukraine exactly as it should be morally, stated Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in a video uploaded to his Facebook page on Sunday.

Prime Minister Szentendré on Sunday, meeting the voters, stated that "the leader of the left, Ferenc Gyurcsány, tells us that we are a rubbish nation. If we don't send soldiers, we don't send weapons, if we don't participate in this war, then we are a rubbish nation".

He stated: “We must make it very clear that we are a great nation and we are doing great in this war. We have provided and continue to provide assistance to more than 500,000 people in need. We are a great country that does exactly what it should morally do, but

no one can ask us to take part, even at the cost of human life, in a war that is not our war."

Viktor Orbán emphasized that this is a war between two other peoples. "We understand what is happening, we see the suffering, but we cannot help by destroying ourselves, by sending our children to a war that we have nothing to do with and from which we have nothing to gain, but everything to lose," said the Prime Minister .
