Viktor Orbán condemns the Bucsa massacre and supports the international investigation

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, of course, condemns the massacre in Bucsa, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister's press chief, informed MTI on Saturday.

Hungary fully supports the international investigation, the purpose of which is to identify the perpetrators of the carnage - Bertalan Havasi explained the Prime Minister's position.

The press chief reminded me that Viktor Orbán also made it clear at his international press conference on Wednesday that this is a war started by the Russians, they attacked Ukraine, and this is aggression.

"This is the common position of the European Union, and Hungary is part of this position. And about all the atrocities, I think that all of them must be investigated, (…) in any case, civilians must be protected, abuse against civilians must be condemned in the strongest terms, and such cases must be investigated. We want an independent and impartial investigation," the press chief recalled the words of Viktor Orbán.

In an interview on Friday, Jaroslaw Kaczynski, the leader of the leading Polish ruling party, Jog is Justice (PiS), criticized Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán for refusing to condemn Russia for the murders committed in Bucsa, Ukraine.
