The first day of Easter is the day of resurrection. Jesus resurrected in a real body, but according to some theologians, this was not his old, earthly body, but the heavenly, eternal body that is about to return to the Father.

Of course, the signs of the stigmata and the pain of death were also palpable, but he no longer taught, healed, or performed miracles, since his resurrection was the miracle and the hope that we would all go to the Lord.

Everyone has an eternal body, which was given to us by the God-man. According to our belief, this is how we return to our Creator, where we are already with our earthly life. Everything and everyone lives in God's heart even if we cry out:

God, God, why have you forsaken me?

Even today, many mourn the murdered, crucified in war, they too are forced to endure the same cruel death that befell Jesus.

Satan has been lurking at the cross of Jesus ever since, but the resurrection of the Lord condemns him to eternal defeat. "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. (Matthew 5:5) - says Jesus, because he knows what Pilinszy writes about so beautifully:

Because he could have been killed by vile mercenaries/and his heart could have stopped beating/On the third day he defeated death/Et resurrexit tertia die.

Humanity's only hope is that it can defeat evil and inherit the earth as a community of the meek. Interests and empires collide above us, which are capable of destroying our entire heritage. The main sins are lined up: arrogance, envy, anger, laziness to do good, everyone is carried away by passions, even the good walk in the valley of death.

There is no peace. And we have to ask the question, what kind of worlds are colliding here? What kind of world order will come next?

The logic of war has started and is taking on ever more amazing proportions. The Russians are attacking, Western and American weapons are arriving, and the Ukrainian counterattacks are gradually spreading to Russian lands as well. Mass graves are created, torture and killing are rampant everywhere. No one knows for sure whether, for example, the Russian soldiers killed in Bucha, or the Ukrainian Nazis punished them cruelly, because people cooperated with the soldiers out of fear or just out of humanity. It is impossible to see clearly in the media noise, so all we can do is try to relate with love to those who are fleeing hell and waiting to be accepted. And we provide aid, we send medicines, clothes, and food to places where drinking water must also be fought for.

Trains, special trains keep coming, families and children are coming, a Hungarian doesn't have the slightest reservation: they are in trouble, they need help. The government and the offices facilitate where they can and can, since economic migrants do not come in the hope of a better life, but hundreds of thousands of people are fleeing from an actual danger to their lives.

Pope Francis says: let's not be racist, let's not judge refugees based on their origin and skin color. You are right, refugees must be protected! However, immigration and migration must take place under regulated conditions.

Speaking with Babits:

“O peace! peace! let there be peace! Let it be over!”

Now! Not in years to come, as during the world wars, we must not enter this evil vortex now.

Yes! The Hungarian people strongly expressed this desire for peace in the elections. More than three million people suggested:

no relativism, no relativity can be tolerated, we must not drift into this war!

Jesus died for us, the tapestry of the church was torn in two and great darkness arose. However, his resurrection brought light, a testimony that we are one with him in God, we carry his earthly destiny and cross, and the divine, shining promise of peace and love also lives within us.

This Easter, all Christian communities are praying for the guns to stop, killing and barbarism to stop. Let the kingdoms fall silent, let the leaders look within themselves and seek God's message.

The place of arrogance, arrogance, envy, and anger will be replaced by common sense, withdrawal, and a sense of peace. Let's not believe that things happen above us! In us!

Have a blessed Easter!
