The reader can relax, I haven't lost my mind, and I'll tell you, these news stories were made up by me, but similar "scientific" facts appear on the Internet in all seriousness and are enthusiastically shared by masses on social media.

Why is it that there is more demand for this kind of crap on the national side? Libs are somehow less receptive to "magical" things. The expectation of a miracle is greater here. Libs are cynical and skeptical - so they don't believe in such things either. They believe in other kinds of nonsense, other kinds of miracles.
"The war in Ukraine, the election in Hungary and the result in France are part of a global trend: nationalism, the use of brute force, the spirit of domination is returning to the world, which must be opposed again and in the same way as before in the 17th and 18th century."
This is the title of a recent article in Magyar Narancs, which I copied by chance. They do not believe that Attila's people populated the Carpathian basin for a hundred thousand years, but that equality, tolerance, and then an eternal era of acceptance and peace will come, only before that the ugly things must be eradicated. Yes, the ugly things like nationalism, family, private property, gender roles, male and female, and all the things that are inescapable parts of man as a biological being.
Libs don't believe in witches, but in the fifteenth gender and human equality. And yet - as our good King Kálmán had already said - there are no witches. I know he didn't quite say it in those words, and he only meant strigas, but that's the point.
