Now there is this post-election Great Abroad Move: the liberal intellectual (candidate) who gives himself something is already planning (preparing) to pack in his head. - Francesca Rivafinoli begins her article on the vasarnap.hu portal, adding: There is nothing wrong with that: if we are forced to live with the wild drives of the European Union - from the texts of Sophie in 't Veld to dealing with the situation of transgender people in Cameroon - then it is good that we live also with its more meaningful achievements, including the free flow of labor and freedom of establishment.

However, it seems that so far, roughly five of our compatriots have really thought seriously about emigrating because of the parliamentary election: Anna Donáth's "five gay friends", whose departure is really a sensitive loss, considering that they are impressively cool-headed geniuses who have fallen on their feet.

While their colleagues who spoke to Telex could not get out of bed for two days after the second two-thirds, they learned of the result at midnight on the third, and on the 20th, the president of Momentum was able to report that they had moved abroad.

In other words, in 16 days they completed the 30-day notice period at their home workplace or completed all the current orders of their business, while they decided on the destination, got a job there, found their apartment there, put down the deposit and paid the rent, and even moved out. , that in the meantime there was a four-day holiday. Amazing, really, this kind of performance should be recognized regardless of expert camps.

Unless, of course, they still have a job at home, which they do from abroad, as is so often the case with emigrants, who essentially call telecommuting and commuting from Mediterranean landscapes emigration. Or the foreign adventure you've been planning for years as a spontaneous escape.

Good, but Google search terms! - could interject the well-informed citizen who read everywhere on the fourth of April that the frequency of searches related to emigration had increased. Indeed. Compared to what is usual recently, many people actually searched for the word "emigration" for a day or two - otherwise, a narrow third of the number compared to 2018.

When the result of a much larger number of feverish searches than this year was that 12 percent fewer Hungarians moved abroad than in 2017. The current swing could therefore be so spectacular because the base was quite low: in the four years since the 2018 elections, interest in "emigration" has been practically completely absent in this unbearable "dictatorship", from which everyone is supposedly permanently fleeing.

The word "foreign work" is also slightly more popular during each parliamentary cycle - except that even there we see that the demand has been continuously and spectacularly decreasing for ten years.

Most people searched for the term in July 2004, after joining the EU (let's call it a value of 100 on a scale up to 100), then there was another boom around the opening of the German and Austrian labor markets (a value of 88), compared to the current "extraordinary" interest in April 2022 reaches a numerical level of 9. Nine. Which is not only not visible from the moon, but not very much without glasses.

While the whole thing does not have much significance in the first place: those who are really and seriously planning to move abroad do not look for the phenomenon itself in general, but browse the job advertisements or the real estate portal of the given country.

But it is not advisable to visualize an exodus based on the search terms "emigration" and "work abroad" just because there are certain other words that put things into context. If we compare the Google statistics of "village choc" and "emigration" (which I recommend to more sensitive left-liberal bubble residents only after more thorough mental preparation), then it seems that the topic of rural construction and family formation was more popular even after the announcement of the election results , like emigration (in fact, even simple work abroad).

In the last 12 months, understandably, the least number of searches for village chocolates were made around Christmas Eve (even then with a value of around 25), so that after New Year's, Internet users enthusiastically delve into the relevant information again (a value of 100, practically twice within a year ) . While the range of potential emigrants is by definition wider than those currently entitled to the village home building discount.

In any case, we wish those who prefer to move abroad a successful settlement and a pleasant experience - at the same time recommending (for example, a few days after Gergely Homonnay's funeral ceremony) to keep in mind that, unfortunately, not even a rosy and happy foreign country can offer real happiness and freedom. Fortunately, it is available internally anywhere.
