The parliamentary group of Fidesz has officially been established, the 117-member ruling party faction unanimously decided to nominate László Kövér for the position of President of the Parliament at the inaugural meeting on Thursday.
In a statement, the Fidesz faction wrote: Csaba Hende can hold the post of House vice-president responsible for legislation, and István Jakab and Sándor Lezsák the position of parliament vice-president in the next term.
It was also announced: the Fidesz faction re-elected Máté Kocsis as faction leader - also by unanimous vote. The positions of deputy faction leaders are held by Eszter Vitályos, Gabriella Selmeczi, party director Gábor Kubatov, faction director György Balla and Péter Ovádi.
