The scout home of the St. Bernard Scout Group No. 433 of Szent Imre Plébány in Budapest-Szentimreváros and the Árvalányhaj Közhasznú Egyesület was renovated as a joint effort. A few days ago, children and leaders, parents and donors gathered to celebrate this occasion.

The festive occasion began with a mass in the Szent Imre church in Buda, which was offered for the team, its members and the scout home by Father Örs Szkaliczki, the parish priest of the church. Before the mass, the young people in uniform gathered in the churchyard. The team's flag was proudly held by a young man, both in the churchyard and at mass.

The old scout brothers also came to the holy mass, and together with the current ones, they shouted the battle cry of the team after the mass - quoting the team commander: "So that they could hear it even on Béla Bartók út."

The scout home has gone through a lot of changes in order to provide a suitable environment for the Bernáts and everyone who needs it.

Many supporters were represented at the ceremony, and many of those who previously had the right to call this beautiful room their home paid their respects. Father Örs' speech was led by a short greeting, a nice look back and nostalgic pictures and memories.

He said that the blessing is not only for the walls, not only for the objects, but for everyone who contributed to the completion of the home, for those who live their scout life here, and for those who come here to work on the life of their own community, that is, for all those who call their home considered.

The parish priest's speech was followed by the blessing of the scout home, followed by a friendly agape with strudel and soft drinks. Recalling memories, enjoying the renovated room and friendly conversations completed the celebration.

The team is grateful to everyone, private individuals, scouts and their relatives, the XI. both the district and the parish of Szent Imre, who contributed to the achievement of the goal with their work or support.
