Our country refused the request of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi

"All those who fled to us from Ukraine are safe and we will not extradite them!" stated Zsolt Semjén.

Andrij Jermak, the head of the Ukrainian presidential office, is negotiating the extradition of conscripted Ukrainians from EU member states, in this regard Zsolt Semjén stated to ATV's question:

"Hungary will not extradite refugees to Ukraine. We do not investigate whether, according to the Ukrainians, the person is conscripted or not. Based on basic humanity, we will not allow them to be sent to their deaths," he said.

"Every refugee from Ukraine is completely safe with us and receives all the help, whether Hungarian or Ukrainian," he added. Zsolt Semjén stated: for the Subcarpathian Hungarians, this is also our natural national duty, in the case of the Uranians, it is humanitarian and legal evidence, since no one can be extradited whose life would be in danger.

However, the Ukrainians want their release in order to send them to the war, to the front, where people die.

"So those who fled to us from Ukraine are all safe and we will not extradite them!" - stated the deputy prime minister.
