After trade-offs and tricks, the left can get three billion forints more, despite the fact that they have far fewer representatives than in the previous cycle, pointed out Máté Kocsis, Fidesz faction leader.
In the meantime, Zoltán Kiszelly spoke to Magyar Nemzet about the fact that no constructiveness can be expected from the left, of which only the narrowest party elite has entered the parliament. However, according to the director of the Századvég Center for Political Analysis, since it never represents the Hungarian interest, but rather the globalist position, the left will shrink into a subculture.
"After substitutions and tricks, six (!) left-wing factions were formed in the new Parliament," wrote Máté Kocsis on his social media page. The faction leader of Fidesz emphasized:
"they achieved a result of only 34 percent with the joint list, they have far fewer representatives than in the previous cycle, but they will still have more factions, and because of this they can get HUF three billion more". "That's why they played so many tricks," summed up Máté Kocsis.
It is known: thanks to various background deals and secret agreements, DK got fifteen representatives, Jobbik, Momentum and MSZP ten, Párbeszéd six, and LMP five in the new Parliament, even though they ran on the same list. For example, the Gyurcsánys gave the mandate of Klára Dobrev to the LMP so that the Green Party could form an independent faction.
In addition to the two billion HUF support so far, the government is helping Transcarpathia and Ukraine with a total of half a billion HUF.
Ferenc Gyurcsány was the first to leave after the swearing-in to show the left-wing hard core: he is the real opponent, who keeps a physical distance from the government
Zoltán Kiszelly already told our paper about what happened at the opening session of the Parliament on Monday, at which the president of the DK was followed by Momentum and Párbeszéd. The director of the Századvég Political Analysis Center emphasized: it is not known whether it was a coordinated action, but it is certain that
after the severe defeat of the left, the fallen prime minister encouraged the opposition to "become Gyurcsányos too".
According to him, Jobbik was exceptionally left out of the action because everyone already associates Péter Jakab with Ferenc Gyurcsány, which is why the party lost half of its supporters.
- No constructiveness can be expected from the left, which, moreover, only the narrowest party elite have entered the parliament, who can be called B-category politicians without offense. Nothing else can be expected from them, i.e. violent verbalism and various production competitions, from sacks of potatoes to pressing the phone in the face. The end of this will be that the left will become a subculture, Zoltán Kiszelly said. According to him, this is already a clear sign that the right-wing has significantly strengthened in the peripheral districts of Budapest, a significant part of the Havanna housing estate and Soroksár voted for Fidesz. "If this continues for another four years, they will lose in these places in 2026," said the political scientist.
According to him, the fact that the left never represents the Hungarian interest, but rather the globalist point of view, and listens to American advisers and the international left-liberal media, also leads to becoming a subculture.
– Earlier, we saw this from them during the migration crisis, and most recently in the issue of supporting the war. - The topics of the left are completely alien to the Hungarian reality, which is why they have not managed to offer Hungary any alternative in the last twelve years - said the director of the Center for Political Analysis of Századvég.
