According to Kelemen Hunor, many things have changed since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, but the geography has not changed.

The Transylvanian Hungarians live here, the future must be founded here even in more difficult times," stated the president of the Romanian Hungarian Democratic Association (RMDSZ) in his political report held at the meeting of the Associational Representatives Council (SZKT) on Friday in Cluj-Napoca.

Kelemen Hunor, who also holds the position of Deputy Prime Minister of Romania, considered the security of the country and the maintenance of peace to be the most important. He stated that the countries of Europe and NATO should not get involved directly in war, because then the problem could be bigger.

He believed that there is no such argument or pretext that could justify the war. "We have condemned the Russian aggression from the first moment, and every freedom-loving person must raise his voice against the aggression," stated Kelemen Hunor.
