"Our ancestors cry out to us from Christ's heaven to protect their memory, the crosses and the monument. They command us not to allow foreigners to topple these Christian symbols. Today, the crosses and the monument are considered illegal structures by the court, which were condemned to be demolished by a first-instance decision. The appeal will follow, but the decision about it also depends on your decisions, so that you come to the Úzvölgy military cemetery in as large a number as possible on Heroes' Day.

George Simion , head of the Association for the Unification of Romanians (AUR), also published a post on Sunday evening on his Facebook social page, in which he encourages everyone to participate in the Thursday event. The post had been liked by nearly nine thousand people by noon on Monday.
