In many areas, the left would hand over powers to Brussels, our experience is that with this the multiplicity will have a much greater influence on matters than the people - Csaba Dömötör reacted to the DK's Gy. Erzsébet Németh bragging about the introduction of the European minimum wage. The state secretary emphasized: the minimum wage in our country is more than three times what it was in Gyurcsány's time.
The majority of the left-wing representatives criticized the draft of next year's budget before the agenda. LMP's Antal Csárdi called the budget opaque and unfair, and András Tállai, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, retaliated by saying that so far only one budget has been confirmed to have contained untrue figures, and that was in 2006, during the Gyurcsány government.
It is one of the most transparent budgets in Europe today, which was also examined by the State Audit Office and the Budget Council, which has the unique veto right in the world, the state secretary said. He stated: the goal of next year's budget is to protect families and the achievements of utility reduction from wartime inflation.
After the socialist Zoltán Vajda mentioned "intoxicating austerity" and then called on the state secretary not to give a "boring" answer, Tállai questioned the representative:
"Is it true that you had trouble accounting for EU funds? Or that he tried to become a representative with letters of recommendation that were not signed by real people?"...
Turning to the budget, he noted: Vajda, who would follow Lajos Bokros according to a Facebook post, calls the introduction of the extra profit tax austerity, but during Bokros' time, families were hit by austerity. "Your crisis management is really austerity, our crisis management is to protect families," said Tállai.
Bence Rétvári, the State Secretary of the Ministry of the Interior stated: It is contrary to Jámbor's "neo-Marxist text" that the left in the government "took the harshest neoliberal steps", and when they "handled" a crisis in this way, it brought about a seven percent economic decline, while last year it was more than seven percent the growth.
Teacher Dóra Dúró (Mi Hazánk) urged a wage increase, condemning the government for "letting Brussels decide" on this. On the one hand, Rétvári pointed out that the negotiations with the teachers' organizations are ongoing, on the other hand he emphasized: the EU fund is not a donation, it belongs to our country, and it is unacceptable that "Brussels acts as if this is not the Hungarians' money".
"It's as if you couldn't take money out of the machine with a red-white-green bank card, only with a rainbow bank card". These resources benefit us, and we want to give teachers a growing respect for them, among other things, said the state secretary, adding that the Hungarian left in Brussels is hindering this.
According to State Secretary Csaba Dömötör, the minimum wage in Hungary is currently more than three times what it was in Gyurcsány's time. "This is what left-wing sensibility means in practice," he added, recalling that their candidate for prime minister, Péter Márki-Zay, said he did not support the minimum wage. Dömötör explained: Brussels wants the people to bear the price of the sanctions policy, so they propose to "heat less, light less, drive less", and Budapest wants to join this, according to Socialist Deputy Mayor Kata Tüttő, these can bring peace.
The left always derives its policy from foreign expectations, stated the state secretary.
István Simicskó, the faction leader of the KDNP, spoke about how the government will continue to protect and strengthen families, and support for families will increase in next year's budget, because "we see the future of our nation in this".
Eszter Vitályos, State Secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Innovation, announced that the future of the country is written by Hungarian families.
The family, child and youth policy continues to strive for society to be able to support itself, next year the budget will provide 3,225 billion forints for family support, this amount has increased by three and a half times compared to 2010 - emphasized the state secretary.
Erik Bánki (Fidesz) stated: the budget is on a stable basis. "As soon as the war ends, the current inflation will also end," he said, however, according to him, as long as the EU countries finance the war situation, prices will also rise. He noted that the Soros were interested in the war.
