The reburial of Imre Nagy, the martyred prime minister of the revolution, was the new beginning of Hungarian political life - this is what the parliamentary secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Innovation spoke about on Thursday in Budapest, at the statue of the martyred prime minister.

Eszter Vitályos said at the central ceremony organized on the occasion of the reburial of Imre Nagy and his fellow martyrs: this day is about bowing your head to the ideals of courage, patience and wisdom. According to him, 1956 meant courage, the period between November 4, 1956 and June 16, 1989 meant patience, and in June 1989 one had to be wise.
