The government and the Fidesz-KDNP continue to maintain the utility reduction in Brussels, despite the continuous pressure exerted by the Hungarian left and the multis, stated the government commissioner responsible for maintaining the utility reduction.

Szilárd Németh said that if we look at European politics today, we see that the leftists in Brussels - instead of racking their brains over how to end wartime inflation and the resulting harmful economic effects, how to protect European and Hungarian citizens - with their crazy proposals, they want to make the European and Hungarian citizens pay the price of the war.

It seems that in Hungary the left-wing politicians in the capital have also boarded this "Brussels train", he said.

Mayor Gergely Karácsony "in his usual manner simply denounced Hungary in Brussels" in the matter of utility reduction, and then "he even sniggered for money in exchange for his betrayal," the government commissioner stated.

He added: Anett Bősz, "the new deputy mayor of the Gyurcsány party", sees the solution to wartime inflation in Hungarians leaving the car behind and switching to public transport.

Szilárd Németh said that they cannot be surprised because Anett Bősz "is not traveling alone on this train from Brussels". accompanied by the wealthy "social deputy mayor" Kata Tüttő, who recommends that Hungarians "living in much more modest circumstances" consume less energy, moderate their use of cars, and rethink their heating, cooling and cooking habits at home.

Against them, the Fidesz-KDNP continues to state: the flawed Brussels sanctions policy, which affects the European and Hungarian people, does not solve either the runaway energy prices or the wartime inflation, instead it wants to make the Hungarians pay the price of the war.

"We will not let this happen. We stand up for the interests of the Hungarian people," declared the government commissioner.

Despite the continuous pressure from Brussels, the Hungarian left and the parties, the government and the Fidesz-KDNP continue to maintain the utility reduction, Szilárd Németh said.
