As the only candidate in Keszthely, Jenő Manninger (Fidesz-KDNP) - who was a Fidesz representative of the Keszthely region until April - will run for the title of mayor in the interim municipal election on Sunday, according to data from the National Elections Office. The opposition could not put forward a candidate for the vote. The previous city manager, Bálint Nagy (Fidesz–KDNP), was elected the district's parliamentary representative in April, so he resigned from his post as mayor.
