Today (Wednesday), the European Parliament (EP) voted again on the previously rejected "Fit for 55" climate and energy package, which includes the proposal for the introduction of the Brussels climate tax.

The left-wing majority of the European Parliament did not rest on its defeat in the vote two weeks ago: bypassing the traditional procedure, they repeatedly put the issue of the climate tax on the agenda in an anti-democratic way, and this time they voted on the proposals.

Edina Tóth , Fidesz EP representative, highlighted: " For narrow-minded ideological reasons, the European left would definitely impose the climate tax on the population, i.e. they want to make the citizens and Hungarian families pay the price of the green transition. We will not let this happen, and we will continue to fight against its introduction."

According to EP representative Edina Tóth, in contrast to the irresponsible proposal of Brussels, the financing of the fight against climate change should not be paid for by the people, but by the big polluters who are the biggest causes of climate change. The amounts that can be used to finance the green transition must be taken from their profits. It is unfortunate that, on the other hand, representatives of the European left, including Hungarian left-wing representatives, would harm families and cause further increases in energy prices through their proposals.

"Furthermore, we believe that the adoption of the climate tax would particularly adversely affect European, including Hungarian, families and businesses, as well as jeopardize the results and sustainability of the Hungarian utility reduction program. "We will continue on the path we have started and will prevent taxes resulting from EU regulations from being passed on to Hungarian citizens!" - added Edina Tóth.

2022plus: The fact that the European Parliament spat widely on the democratic rules of the game no longer surprises anyone. They know what democracy really is, but it annoys them, so they reject it. Moreover, she is regularly violated and raped. We also know that Brussels is today the stronghold of red/green fascism. It is also not new that so many stupid clowns, unable to think ahead, terrorize the normal minority that still exists (exists?), as many as could not be gathered together even after careful selection. In fact, it has been clear for a long time that even the very bottom of the Hungarian opposition has reached the members of the EP, who are not necessarily stupid, but infinitely evil and Hungarian-haters.

We just didn't know, and we still don't know today, that these vile figures are leftists. If they were, they would defy the will of global big capital with every fiber of their being. There is no question of the left here, they are the domestic servants of globalism, and the worst of it. If it were up to them, the Hungarian citizens would have been destitute a long time ago, they would have paid the horrible energy bills, such and such European special taxes, that is, they would have had no other assets than their underwear. Unwashed, of course, because it's enough to air it out...

And those who voted for them should never forget that they brought the richly paid traitors of the Hungarians to Brussels. Sew a button on that!
