John Holmstrom died in 2013 at the age of 86. He was a close friend of the teacher (Raef Payne) who taught at Eton College (one of the most prestigious British boys' schools - ed.), who was previously accused of harassing and molesting underage students of the institution. , according to Radio 4's Dark Corners series, the Daily Mail reported .

Raef Payne taught at Eton for 35 years, during which time he attended several parties where grown men exchanged photos of naked children. Former BBC presenter Holmstrom was a member of a pedophile group (PIE), whose members asked him to write the leaflet.

"Payne had images of what the police now call child pornography," a former teacher told In Dark Corners host Alex Renton, an Eton graduate who has explored the dark nature of the schools in a documentary and book.

Documents from the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse reveal that Holmstrom wrote a public information brochure for PIE in the late 1970s entitled Pedophilia: Some Questions and Answers. Holmstrom joined the BBC in the early 1950s and became known for his recognizable voice and acerbic misunderstandings on air.
