We stand up for Hungarian interests! Balázs Hidvéghi, Fidesz member of the European Parliament (EP), pointed out on Monday on his Facebook page.
In his post, the ruling party politician also shared a video in which the France 24 news channel asked him about the rule of law procedure.
Balázs Hidvéghi wrote: the reporter tried very hard to suppress the words, so that the viewers would not accidentally hear something that does not fit into the Brussels mantra.
However, he also said here: the whole rule of law procedure is just an excuse.
"The rule of law is alive and well in Hungary. But also traditional Christian values," he stated, adding that this is what really bothers Brussels.
"It's no coincidence that these procedures are somehow always launched against countries where people stick to the traditional family and the fight against illegal immigration," said the Fidesz politician.
