On the official website of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, provisions on the dismissal of some heads of foreign missions appeared.
On July 9, Volodymyr Zelenskiy dismissed Lyubov Vasilivna Nepop from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Hungary by decree. He was the one who kindly commented on Viktor Orbán's calm statement:
"Your strategic peace will only be in the grave!"
Mandiner writes: according to Izvestyija, a real wave of purges has begun in Ukrainian diplomacy: in addition to Nepop, the ambassadors Andriy Melnyik of Germany, Vyacheslav Jacjuk of Norway and Yevgenyija Perebijnosza of the Czech Republic were also recalled.
There were speculations in the German media about the recall of Andrij Melnyik, who had insulted several leading German politicians, a few days ago, but there was no mention of the recall of other ambassadors at that time.
We wish the ambassador all the best!
