A left-wing politician known violent actions built himself a dream villa in one of the most expensive districts of Budapest without a building permit, misleading the authorities
In addition, he is trying to disguise the building worth at least 150 million as an old farmhouse. Bence Tordai, who has been attacking the billionaire Péter Csipak, who is also building without a permit, as loudly as possible for a long time has been building in an illegal way.
In 2016, Tordai bought a plot of land in one of the most expensive parts of Budapest, II. in the garden city of the district.
There was an old farmhouse on the plot, and the left-wing politician essentially "hiding" behind it and began to circumvent the building regulations. Since he could not get a permit for a new building on the plot in question due to the strict regulations, he decided to deceive the authorities.
He lied that he was only renovating the original house, while he fraudulently demolished it completely and built a brand new villa in its place. The old farmhouse was replaced by a modern, new, stilted, one-story building. Then he caught himself and arbitrarily moved into the building.
In addition to building without a permit, Bence Tordai constantly tries to deceive and mislead the authorities, and uses all means to cover up the violation of the law.
Metropol acquired the mandatory e-log at construction sites, which clearly failed the politician. This clearly shows that the old house was completely demolished after deceiving the authorities and brand new foundations were dug for a new house with a machine.
According to Metropol's information, the expert investigation established that "the existing, remaining walls included in the plans cannot be found, and a completely new frame ceramic was installed instead." The so-called e-log, which tracks the phases of the construction, also states that "complete demolition and mechanical foundation excavation" took place. In other words, the house is classified as illegal construction without a permit, and as such, it must be clearly demolished.
An important question may be whether Bence Tordai received any kind of support, political backing, or encouragement from his main political ally in order to deceive the authorities and build without a permit. from the district mayor, Gergely Őrsi, with whom he performs at joint events on a monthly basis.
