The Hungarian national team defeated Norway on Sunday in the final of the Medigames held in Portugal. Doctors and health workers from all over the world could participate in the football tournament.
The Orvos Hungarian Football Team announced on its Facebook page that it defeated the Norwegian national team and became the world champion at the Medigames held in Portugal. After the 1-1 final score of the regular time, the Hungarian team won with penalty kicks.
The team provided a balanced performance throughout the tournament, marching undefeated to the finals.
The Hungarian medical team last won the World Cup in 2004.
