On Saturday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán gave a detailed speech dealing with many issues at the 31st Bálványos Summer Free University and Student Camp (Tusványos), and in his presentation he also gave an analysis and a vision - this is how the head of the Nézőpont Institute on the M1 assessed what was said.

Ágoston Sámuel Mráz, who was connected from the scene, emphasized that the prime minister also dealt with world politics, European politics and Hungarian domestic politics.

He explained: the Prime Minister described the situation in the West as a crisis situation and now for the first time used the term "post-West" for the part of the Western world where the Western values and Christian-based society are declining "due to the issue of immigration and stagnation". He contrasted this with the Central European region, which preserves the original value system of the Western world.

The Western world only has military power and capital - and although Europe and NATO have a deterrent effect and capital investments also exist - the question now is whether the Europe we know can be maintained with only these two tools - he said who is the analyst, making it likely that all this will be little.

He also pointed out that the prime minister's speech was "an honest confrontation with the facts". As an example, he mentioned that, emphasizing the importance of demography, the prime minister spoke of the fact that the turning point had not yet occurred, and speaking of the ongoing legal debate on the gender issue, he said that so far it has been achieved that the issue can be separated from EU resources. Ágoston Sámuel Mráz characterized these as conflicting topics.

He emphasized: Hungary is losing the war because of the drop in energy prices and wartime inflation. He agreed with the words of Viktor Orbán, that if Germany was led by a responsible real politician and an American president who wanted to avoid war, despite all criticism, was able to negotiate and strive for a solution due to his nature as a businessman, then the war would have been avoided.

Sámuel Ágoston Mráz also called the Prime Minister's words a peace speech, in which the Prime Minister formulated a proposal for a solution, namely that the Americans and the Russians must come to an agreement, as Russia expects a security guarantee from the United States and NATO.

The Western world needs a new strategy instead of the previous failure, which should serve to ensure that the Western world also strives for peace. Based on the past "bitter months", he classified the idea that Russia can be defeated as a wrong strategy. Therefore, a peace agreement is needed between the Western world and Russia that takes into account Ukrainian interests, keeps Ukraine on a democratic path, and protects its sovereignty, the analyst explained.

Sámuel Ágoston Mráz highlighted: Hungary has so far managed to stay out of the war conflict and in his speech Viktor Orbán repeated his campaign promise. However, the energy crisis cannot be avoided, so due to the additional costs of approximately two thousand billion forints, a transformation had to be made in the overhead reduction, he pointed out.

The analyst also pointed out that cooperation in Visegrad is not in a good state, so now it is necessary to concentrate on the mind in addition to the heart, and to preserve and save the results achieved so far. He said, only the cooperation of the peoples of Central Europe can preserve the Western value system in the face of the post-West.

In connection with the energy crisis, he also spoke about the winning countries that have energy sources. In this field, Hungary is in a good position with the nuclear power plant - the speeding up of the Paks expansion is also an important strategic goal of the government - however, fossil energy sources are limited. However, there are also serious opportunities in solar energy in Hungary - Sámuel Ágoston Mráz opined.
