After a break of nearly twenty years, the Capuchin monks are returning to their ancient monastery in Máriabesnyő at the well-known and visited place of farewell. On the occasion of the reopening of the monastery, a celebratory mass was held in the Basilica of Our Lady of the shrine, reports the Magyar Kurír.

Initially, the new international community of monks will consist of one Hungarian and three foreign priests. The Capuchin order is now re-opening the monastery as part of a project named after St. Lawrence of Brindisi and aimed at strengthening monastic life.
