Prime Minister Viktor Orbán traveled to the United States, where he will participate in the summer conference of the American Conservative Union, CPAC, and will also hold bilateral meetings, Bertalan Havasi, the prime minister's press chief, informed on Monday.
The delegation includes Péter Szijjártó , Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Balázs Orbán, political director of the Prime Minister, and Zsolt Németh , chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Parliament. Viktor Orbán was asked to deliver one of the opening speeches at the largest and most influential conservative event in the world, the American CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference).
CPAC is a conservative political jamboree organized by the American Conservative Union (ACU), founded in 1974, and during its nearly half-century history, it has grown to become the ACU's most popular event, attracting tens of thousands of conservatives.
