Things seem to be looking up under the landmark agreement.

The Index writes that Ukraine will start exporting wheat from this year's harvest in September, according to a landmark agreement reached with the mediation of Turkey and the UN, according to a statement from Ukraine's First Deputy Minister of Agriculture.

"Ukraine hopes that

within a few months, it will be able to increase its grain exports to 3-3.5 million tons per month from the 1 million tons expected in August"

- said official Tarasz Vysotskyi, they write.
