The large-scale summer conference of the American Conservative Union, CPAC, has ended in Dallas, on the last day of which, on Saturday, Miklós Szánthó, director general of the Center for Fundamental Rights, spoke, and the closing speech was given by former US President Donald Trump.
Both Eastern and Western socialism pose a threat to our security - emphasized Miklós Szánthó, Director General of the Center for Fundamental Rights, on Saturday at the CPAC conference in Dallas, according to a report published on the legal analysis institute's community page.
According to a post by the Center for Fundamental Rights, Miklós Szánthó stated in Texas: "our fundamentally changing world will either be dominated by a new kind of confused socialism - whether it comes from the East or the West - or us conservatives."
The head of the center, which also organized CPAC Hungary in Budapest, believed that "peace is the only way out of the current war situation, but this requires right-wing victories worldwide."
According to Miklós Szánthó, "only the right wing can guarantee the nation's security, dignity, common sense and realistic foreign policy, which is why we must work together to realize the liberals' nightmare, the international cooperation of national forces".
In the words of Miklós Szánthó, "a communist does not disappear, he only transforms; therefore we have to say: what we call progress should rather be called by its real name: Marxism".
The director-general of the Center for Fundamental Rights emphasized that three decades after Central Europe was freed from communist oppression, it must again face the threat of socialism.
He also emphasized that the socially destructive efforts of the New Left have serious security policy consequences. As an example of this, he mentioned that history is being rewritten in the name of political correctness, national pride and the family are being destroyed, and Western societies are being torn from their cultural roots.
Donald Trump gave the closing speech.
The Texas army review - at which Prime Minister Viktor Orbán gave an opening speech on Thursday - ended with a speech by the former president.
In his two-hour speech Trump believed that the country has started to decline since the Democrats came to power two years ago, that only conservatives can save society from the coming crises, and that in order to do so, politics must regain the trust of society.
He called winning the so-called "mid-term" congressional elections in November the most important task. He said that the rise of America begins with this and will continue with the hoped-for Republican success in the presidential election in 2024.
Trump once again reminded that when he ran for the second time - before last year - he achieved a better result than the first time, when he won. He said he would continue to work with conservative forces to make the country “great, strong and safe again. This time, however, he did not clearly announce that he would run in the next election.
Criticizing the current president, the Democrat Joe Biden, on several occasions, he repeated his position that the American system is "gradually destroyed" and that the achievements achieved during the previous presidency are reversed. Therefore, according to him, "the radical left must be pushed into oblivion". In his speech, Trump demanded tough action against criminals, especially drug dealers. He stated that during his administration, the American border became the safest in its history, but now it is "the worst in the world". He called for reforms in the American electoral system and urged new rules against corruption, because the current system is sick and he believed that the current leadership is using censorship in the media. He said it was important to protect the rights of parents, and in his opinion, education should also be cleaned up, and children should be protected from the spread of gender ideology.
He also emphasized that further tax increases and soaring inflation must be prevented because the economy is collapsing and steps must be taken to lower energy prices.
He stated that it is necessary to return to the America first slogan in foreign policy, because the United States has lost its leading position, and the country's dependence on others must be reduced. Trump criticized the withdrawal of international forces from Afghanistan and blamed Biden for allowing Russia's war in Ukraine to continue. He criticized Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan the other day and repeated the slogan of the current conference that Pelosi should be removed from her post in the upcoming elections and Congress should become a Republican majority.
