The crowd knows who Gyurcsány is.
"I read from opposition people on social media, opposition newspapers and websites that there is nothing to do, after April 3 there is only one chance left for the opposition, Ferenc Gyurcsány and the DK. It doesn't matter now, I read that they are called Gyurcsány or Klára Dobrev, the point is that there is no other hope left for the opposition, so let them be.
I have bad news for those who think like this. Gyurcsány will never, never, never win the elections in Hungary again, even if she runs under the name of Klára Dobrev.
I'll tell you why.
If it were all that he was the school example of an unprincipled communist big capitalist who transferred party-state power to wealth, and then again to power AND wealth - that would be enough.
But there's more.
If only it were enough that he was also a school example of a small-scale sleight-of-hand who, in addition to the billions he obtained for free, also scammed millions, leasing them out - that would be enough.
But there's more.
If only that he still lives in the villa of Antal Apró, who received this villa from the dictatorship for his role in the dictatorship, who personally oversaw the reprisals after the revolution, and whose crime is no less than that of Himmler or Göbbels in the Nazi In Germany - that would be enough.
But there's more.
If it were only enough that in 2004 he betrayed his own prime minister and practically obtained the main power in a coup d'état - that would be enough.
But there's more.
If it were enough that he lied morning, night, and night as prime minister and governed the country to the brink of bankruptcy, that would be enough.
But there's more.
If it were enough that he campaigned against the citizenship of Hungarians across the border in the referendum on dual citizenship, that would be enough.
But there's more.
If it was only enough that on October 23, 2006, he used swords with the police, pelted them with rubber batons, and shot the peaceful demonstrators in order to create terror in the people - that would be enough.
But there's more.
If it were enough that after the fall of the prime minister, he again betrayed and split his own party, to which he owed his power, that would be enough.
But there's more.
If it were all that he made an alliance with Jobbik, which has a checkered history, for the 2022 elections in order to oust his former friends in principle from the hoped-for power, that would be enough.
But there's more.
The fact is that he has been lying morning, night and evening ever since. The fact is that since then he is ready to make an unprincipled agreement with anyone, and he is also ready to betray the person with whom he made an agreement. The fact is that he has been denying the unity of all Hungarians ever since. The fact is that since then he has been hoping for the restoration of his own power from foreign powers. The thing is, since then, he's been the same amoral power technician he's always been.
There may be many among the people who can be deceived for a while, but the multitude is ultimately wise. The crowd knows who Ferenc Gyurcsány is. That's why the crowd will never, never, never allow him back into power.
If the Hungarian opposition ever wants to be a factor, it's time to look elsewhere."
