Where is the indignation of Save the Children or UNICEF when minor Israeli girls are brutally raped in front of their mothers by the sadistic terrorists of Hamas? - asks Nitsana Darshan-Leitner, president of Surat HaDin and co-author of the bestseller Harpoon: Inside the Covert War Against Terrorism's Money Masters, in her opinion piece.

Days after the October 7th Hamas attack on Israel, Rep. Derrick Van Orden, a former SEAL veteran who is now a Wisconsin state representative, visited Israel after the attack and said:

"I have participated in combat deployments several times. People were slaughtered here on a scale not seen since the Holocaust".

His analogy was not an exaggeration. Terrorists burned babies alive in kitchen ovens.

Hamas commanders issued specific and sadistic orders to the terror commandos to kill and kidnap as many Jews as possible. They also gave orders to rape and mutilate Israeli women they found.

The underage girls and their mother were humiliated in front of the other family members.

Grandmothers, even those in wheelchairs, were molested. The terrorists filmed their horrific acts, which were then shared on social media.

Images published in real time documented the atrocities. Who can forget poor Shani Louk, the 23-year-old German-Israeli girl who was abducted at a rave festival, horribly abused, and then taken back to Gaza on the back of a pickup truck? Hamas terrorists sat on his twisted, shirtless, unconscious body as if it were a trophy. There's also the heart-wrenching video of a 19-year-old Israeli woman with blood on her light-colored jeans at her crotch, indicating that the poor girl was gang-raped and humiliated in a way unimaginable. Who knows what fate befell him in captivity?

Rape and sexual violence as a terrorist tactic in conflicts are considered war crimes.

The Geneva Convention states that "women shall be particularly protected against all attacks on their honor, especially against sexual violence or any form of indecent assault". The Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court states that “rape, sexual slavery, forced pregnancy or any other form of sexual violence” is a crime against humanity. Many other international treaties and conventions require the global community to protect women and girls at all times, including and especially during armed conflict.

Yet the world remains silent about these horrific crimes against Israeli girls and women.

Where is AOC, Rashida and Ilhan [progressive democratic representatives - ed.]?

I guess their two-faced feminist stance is at liberty when the victims are Jews.

Where is the MeToo movement? Why is Hamas being given a free pass? Where are the female journalists on BBC and MSNBC? CNN's Christiane Amanpour aggressively criticized Israel's defense actions, but remained silent on sex crimes committed by Hamas.

Where is the outrage over the rape of children?

On October 7, Israeli children were raped. Where is the outrage from Save the Children or UNICEF? In 2014, after Boko Haram terrorists kidnapped 276 schoolgirls in Nigeria, movie stars and politicians took the lead in global outrage.

Michelle Obama launched a social media campaign called "Bring Back Our Daughters." However, the former first lady has not been seen anywhere since October 7.

His listening is deafening.

After the wars in the former Yugoslavia, Rwanda, Sierra Leone and Ukraine, crimes against women became central to international prosecutions and prosecutions of the men responsible for organizing the rapes. It is unlikely that such a special prosecutor would be appointed to protect Israeli and Jewish women. For years, I have been fighting the destructive virus of the ICC's anti-Israel bias. The Hague court has historically used its jurisprudence to attack Israel, not to defend it.

Israel's national police began documenting the statements of Hamas sexual assault survivors, as well as the accounts of those who witnessed the atrocities, for use in later prosecutions. The accounts of barbaric atrocities are horrifying. A girl who witnessed a gang rape told investigators:

"I saw the Palestinians bend down to him, rape him and just pass him on to the next [terrorist]." They cut off her breast and played with her."

Israel will win the war against the sadistic terrorists because it has to. Hamas must be eradicated. But when the shooting stops, the ruins are covered, and the terrorists have been hunted down and destroyed, then there will be a reckoning. Those who spent their lives fighting for women and children but remained silent when the victims were Jews must answer for their hypocritical and prejudiced silence.
