The Hungarian left is trying to discredit the work of the national government with its foreign partners in the European Union political space, in other words, it wants to cooperate with foreign partners instead of the largest Hungarian delegation - said Mr. Constitutional lawyer Zoltán Lomnici in an interview with Origo. The legal expert of the Századvég Foundation spoke about the negotiations between the European Union and the Hungarian government, the Hungarian left and what the left is up to. We look at it.
According to the expert, there is a dialogue between our country and the Union on several fronts. On the one hand, Minister without portfolio Tibor Navracsics is holding a discourse on the withdrawal of funds from the seven-year budget, here the parties are making good progress towards a compromise, even 24.hu, which is only slightly accused of pro-government, says that it is expected that the parties will be able to reach an agreement by the end of the year. The second issue is the recovery fund, which tied these funds to the fulfillment of demands called "recommendations" by the EU. Such is the rule of law, which has been repeated to the point of abuse, or corruption, which due to the nature of the issues, the negotiations in this case are coordinated by the Minister of Justice Judit Varga. The minister's Facebook post suggests that the parties have made progress in the negotiations. Due to the nature of the negotiators, it is not possible to draw far-reaching conclusions, however, it is encouraging in many respects if the case is closer to closure.

There is nothing new under the sun, especially not when it comes to the anti-national tactics and behavior of the left. The mentioned Századvég research perfectly shows the duplicity of the opposition. You can clearly see that
the political agenda of the Hungarian left-wing MEPs is completely contrary to the government's position, which indicates the absence of a national minimum and the priority of following ideological aspects.

While at home they seemingly do everything to support certain "fashionable" causes - which has always been their custom, to support current issues instead of specific programs - on the international stage, they work against their own country with all means. An excellent example of this tendency is the amendment proposals submitted by the Hungarian left-wing forces in the European Parliament, from the examination of which it is excellently clear that in the European Parliament they are predominantly cooperating with partners hostile to the Hungarian government when developing their amendment proposals.
In summary, nothing new can be expected from the European wing of the left led by Gyurcsány,
they merely continue the anti-national behavior they have been carrying out until now, with the difference that
in the difficult economic situation created as a result of the war and the failed Brussels sanctions, they will do this even more strongly, lobbying on even more fronts, with social media posts and videos laced with even more blatant lies, by all means, fighting to withhold the recovery fund on the European stage, sacrificing their country - no surprise way - if this is necessary at the altar of their own political gain.
This is not surprising from a political organization led by a man whose, according to his own words, "his personal story is to change this k. country (autumn speech)".
