Why is the opposition now protecting Hungarian forests with such great vehemence, while when they were in government they did nothing against illegal logging?
Just! Because they hope to benefit from this too! And with that, I have told everything to anyone who follows the politicizing logic of today's Hungarian opposition parties. Attacking everything, trolling, smearing, taking advantage of every last opportunity to eliminate or at least diminish the government and its achievements. Now they fell for the regulations on logging with the same vehemence with which they defended KATA. They were real enemies of this form of taxation, but who remembers that. I will not discuss why they do this now, because it has become clear to everyone in recent years that they follow a value system that extracts money and wealth from everything.
I still remember a story from the era that fell under the government of these politicians who sacrificed their lives to protect the public property!
My friend got his family forest back as compensation. He took care of him, protected him and was proud of him. That is, he would have only protected it if some people had not thought otherwise.
Every day, wood is carried from its forest by those who would not have been allowed to enter it. Of course, the poor criminals who made a living knew how much value they could go up to at the same time, which still did not cross the border of the crime. True, they did this several times a day. The police didn't even come out for the hundredth call. Why, let the poor gather so they don't freeze in the winter. It's just a violation anyway. Therefore, after a while it was not even worth calling the police station. And if he wanted to defend his power on his own, he was threatened with death. Well, the truck with the freshly cut goods came from these collectors every week. Of course, they were unfortunate, struggling for a living, they didn't know how to cut down a tree, so they sawed it at waist height. They did not submit to forced labor.
The story is not over here yet, because the forest inspector came. (Excuse me for not knowing their exact names!) Of course, my friend was severely punished for mining without a permit. He wouldn't have been able to erase the traces of that. Even though he explained who was looting the herd, they didn't believe him, and he couldn't prove it. That's why he sold the forest and has no intention of dealing with forestry anymore.
Well, this is how the current opposition and government protected the trees that provide oxygen and ensure the future of our children - and I could list the panels that have been slapped now.
