The Servant of God János Esterházy Pilgrimage Center in Alsóbodok warmly welcomes all pilgrims to the Esterházy Pilgrims Day mass and related spiritual programs organized as the 5th anniversary of the final resting place of the Servant of God JÁNOS ESTERHÁZY, who died 65 years ago, on September 16-17, 2022, the invitation reads. .

The János Esterházy Pilgrimage Center in Alsóbodok, consecrated five years ago, has become one of the important spiritual centers of Hungarians in the highlands, thanks to which more and more people are getting to know the example entrusted to us of the servant of God, János Esterházy's self-sacrificing love and prayer for his enemies. That is why we invite the dear brothers and sisters to another spiritual gathering and recharge on the day of the fifth farewell of the Pilgrim Center.

We can all be at home in the resting place of the servant of God, János Esterházy, in Zoboralja, because he lived for us and accepted the cross of suffering for our future and survival.

In the home of the spiritual heritage left by Reánk, there is a place for everyone who comes to Alsóbodok individually, with their family or with their community. This year, on the 5th anniversary of the fulfillment of his last will, we would like to hold our meeting as János Esterházy's extended family, where there is room for joint reflection and prayer, but also for joint meals and brotherly conversations. Where we can share each other's worries, joys, and sorrows. Let us not forget the call of God's servant János Esterházy:

"We are family: we have one mother, one blood, one heart, one God! Above all, let us love, respect and honor our God and our mother, and love each other as good brothers and sisters, because only the consciousness of family belonging transferred to life can ensure a better and happier future."

From the brothers coming to the Esterházy Pilgrimage Day on September 17th, we welcome requests, prayer intentions, and donations, including wreaths or land donations from their village. Please mark the handkerchief-sized linen bag containing the land donation with the name and coat of arms of the settlement and hand it to the organizers in front of the open-air altar upon arrival. The sanctified land donations are placed after the Mass in the rock tomb of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross chapel, in the urn niche of János Esterházy.
