Hundreds of tents, camping chairs, mattresses and sleeping bags gathered after the Island Festival in the Maltese Charity Service campaign. One hundred and fifty volunteers came to Hajógyári Sziget, organized by the Maltese, to help collect the camping equipment left behind by festival-goers.

The equipment saved here contributes to children and homeless people who would not have the opportunity to do so without equipment, to go camping, to spiritual exercises, or to excursions. A part of the collected sleeping bags and blankets will be donated to the Charity Fund "Ukraine! I am for you" organization will deliver it to Kyiv.

The Sziget Festival and the Maltese Charity Service have been cooperating for years in order to ensure that festival-goers can find the opportunity to help people in a more difficult situation than they are in self-indulgent entertainment. The charitable organization is present with an information tent at the country's largest festival, and after closing, it collects usable tents and camping equipment with its volunteers that were not taken away by the festival-goers.

The organizers of Sziget asked the festival-goers to leave their camping equipment in good condition if they do not need it, or to take it to the tent of the Maltese Charity, and the charitable organization will use it for camping for people in need. Accordingly, the visitors' belongings left behind were collected and packed by the volunteers of the aid organization, and then transported to the warehouses of the Maltese Charity Service, where, after thorough cleaning, they will be ready for further use to support the camping of needy families, the care of homeless people and the daily life of Maltese institutions.
