This year, Karitász will also give donations to 300 children who fled the war in Ukraine and are starting the school year in Hungary, it was said.

At the event, Anita Herczegh , the wife of former President János Áder, received the mandate of Katolikus Karitász, according to which she will act as the organization's goodwill ambassador in the future.

András Veres , the president of the Hungarian Catholic Bishops' Conference, said on this occasion that whoever knows God knows love, because God is love and those who claim to be children of Jesus live in love.

That is why all Catholic charitable organizations work to spread the love of God in the world, it was said.

He recalled that the former Goodwill Ambassador of the Catholic Caritász, Dalma Mádl, was the wife of the former President Ferenc Mádl.

It is a special pleasure for him that Anita Herczegh said yes to the invitation of the bishops' conference and can become Ms. Dalma's successor, András Veres said.

Anita Herczegh called it an honor to inherit Dalma Mádl. He went on to remind that ambassadors usually represent a nation, a country. At the same time, the goodwill ambassador also represents a country, the country of love, solidarity and mutual attention, he said.

Antal Spányi , the president of Catholic Charity, emphasized that charity is not an option for Catholics, but a duty. The Catholic Carias also fulfills this duty.

At the same time, effective work also requires suitable people who bring the organization's reputation. He undertook this mission

Anita Herczeg with the position of Goodwill Ambassador, said the high priest.

Gábor Écsy , the national director of the Catholic Charity, said that following the aid campaign, which has now been announced for the 12th time, in 16 dioceses and more than 800 settlements, the necessary tools for starting school, including school bags, school supplies and clothes, will be delivered to those in need.
