This year, the faction of the Christian Democratic People's Party (KDNP) is helping the start of the school year with school supplies, the donations were handed over on Friday at the headquarters of the Ecumenical Aid Organization in Csepel.
István Simicskó , the faction leader of the KDNP, emphasized: the cooperation with the Ecumenical Aid Organization goes back several years, a tradition that they want to continue this year as well. He considered it particularly important to provide assistance to as many families as possible who have difficulties in educating their children.
János Latorcai , the Christian Democratic Vice-President of the Parliament, referring to the action of the aid organization, which says, "Let's fill the schoolbags of 2,000 children in need together!", emphasized that the number of those who need donations cannot be maximized at 2,000. Help is always useful for those in need , he pointed out.
Dorottya Rétfalvi , head of the National Aid Center of the Ecumenical Aid Organization, thanked for the offer and at the same time emphasized the importance of starting school based on equal opportunities.
They managed to put together the previously planned two thousand school supplies, but more and more inquiries are coming to them. Requests are received not only at the beginning of the school year, but also continuously throughout the year, he added.
Now nearly a hundred families are being facilitated by school supplies packages handed over by the KDNP faction , which contain school bags, school supplies, notebooks, and writing instruments.
