The Association of Christian Intellectuals held its thirteenth congress on Saturday in the Upper House Hall of the Parliament. Csaba Latorcai, the Parliamentary State Secretary of the Office of the Minister Responsible for Territorial Development of the Prime Minister's Office, also spoke at the event entitled Our Christian Responsibility in the Created World.
According to the state secretary, "the rebirth of Europe can only be imagined and realized through a Christian-democratic turn". He sees that only the nation that is held together by the two thousand-year-old Christian faith and culture has a future in Europe, according to the announcement of the Prime Minister's Office.
He also drew attention to the fact that supporters of the global world relativize religious and moral standards, the concept of family, in order to make it impossible for communities organized on the basis of local and national characteristics. According to him, as Christians, we have a duty to stand up for our Christian culture and customs.
He emphasized that in order to preserve them, we must resist migration pressure, but at the same time we must help those who are forced to flee because of their faith or from war.
He said: the goal of the Hungarian Government is for the country to be among the five most livable states in the European Union by 2030. The goal is for the Hungarian people to live in harmony with their narrower and wider environment, and to be able to ensure a living for themselves and their families with fair and honest work - State Secretary Dr. Csaba Latorcai concluded his speech.
