According to Guy Verhofstadt, Europeans must also suffer because of the sanctions - this is what Magyar Nemzet writes, which was reported by M1 News.
The newspaper reminds us: the liberal Belgian politician, who also regularly attacks our country, said back in March: yes, we will suffer because of the ban on Russian oil and gas, but we will survive. A week later, he expressed it even more radically in the European Parliament: of course we will suffer.

The paper adds: Guy Verhofstadt's position has not changed even months later.
At the end of June, he spoke about: the right approach would be an immediate ban on Russian fossil fuels, and real solidarity is needed before winter.
