This age group does not have as much time in life as the younger age group, so it does not react to future tensions in the same quality as the generations that follow, why do we entrust the catastrophe that will occur in 30 years to the pensioners? – Zoltán Fleck, the lawyer awarded by Ferenc Gyurcsány, talked about this in a recent interview. Previously, Fleck would have established a constitution without a two-thirds majority.

It is not the first time that the sociologist of law awarded by Ferenc Gyurcsány draws attention to himself with a scandalous statement. Zoltán Fleck recently gave an interview to a left-wing news portal, in which he questioned the voting rights of pensioners.

In essence, Zoltán Fleck questioned the raison d'être of the pensioners' right to vote in an interview given a few days ago, saying that this age group no longer has as much time in life as the younger age group, and therefore does not react to future tensions in the same quality as the generations that follow - he noticed Firewall group .

As it was written, that is exactly why - according to Fleck -

our retired compatriots should not even be given the opportunity to meaningfully influence matters affecting the distant future: "Why do we entrust the catastrophe that will occur thirty years from now to the pensioners?"

- asks the law school teacher.

The Firewall Group recalled that in 2011 Fleck, who received an award from Ferenc Gyurcsány - who also held the position of spokesperson for the Hungarian Democratic Charter organized by the fallen prime minister - took part in the action in which Gyurcsány was compared to Imre Nagy, calling the former's immunity a "conceptual lawsuit" and it was set as the end of the rule of law.

After the fall of the socialist government, Fleck was a regular participant in the program council dedicated to the principle and ideological foundation of the MSZP program, and in 2013 he assumed a central role in the "alternative" election committee of the Gyurcsány-Bajnai association called the election monitoring committee.

The sociologist of law also played a central role in the 2022 election campaign of the left: he became the head of the public law working group of the united opposition. In this role, the leader of the opposition, who deals with the transition to public law, is best known for the fact that

openly stated that in the event of a possible election victory of the left, "the pure enforcement of the rule of law must be renounced. But it was never different during regime change, after great revolutions".
