According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, as a neighbor of Ukraine, Hungary will immediately and severely face the negative effects of the war.

We are no longer in the 24th hour, but in the 25th hour, so the war in Ukraine must end as soon as possible, for which the parties involved should take advantage of the UN General Assembly week to finally start a serious dialogue - warned Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó on Wednesday in New York.

Responding to the news of the partial Russian mobilization in an interview with M1, the head of the ministry emphasized that any news that escalates the conflict is bad news, and at the same time, any development that brings us closer to peace is good news.

"We must take advantage of the UN General Assembly week"

He pointed out that, as a neighbor of Ukraine, Hungary is immediately faced with the negative effects of the war

our country is particularly interested in a settlement as soon as possible, so that even bigger trouble can be prevented.

"Today, too, we would like to draw everyone's attention to the fact that it is necessary to end the war as soon as possible (...) We must take advantage of the week of the UN General Assembly, the UN, which was created to discuss the most difficult issues in the world can also talk to each other," he stated.
