Former Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, the current leader of the opposition, gave an exclusive interview to Hír TV. The politician told the Globál program that he does not agree at all with the fact that the European Union is withholding 7.5 billion euros in support from our country. Ursula von der Leyen, the president of the European Commission, said it was fake, like the Rolex watches bought on the Turkish market.
According to his claim, the withholding of the money is a punishment because the views of the Hungarian government are not in line with the views of the majority of the member states. Robert Fico stated that the EU does not withdraw subsidies because the Hungarian government did not adopt certain legislation.

Regarding the war taking place in our neighbor, he said that if he were the head of the Slovak government, he would not have sent a single cartridge to Ukraine.
