On September 23, on the stage set up on Dugonics Square in Szeged, three praise bands with local ties performed as part of a fusion group created for the occasion. - vasarnap.hu reports about the event.
The special speech also strengthened the mission and message of KATTÁRS (Catholic Social Days). The coming together of different communities is a good example of the fact that it is worth practicing in our everyday lives that we are able to appreciate and recognize each other's positive qualities.
And there was a lot of positives during the joint service of the Jelenlét, Szabad-on and Eleven Tűz formations. The first and perhaps the most obvious, for example, is the full square in front of the stage. Presumably the bands also drew out their own community for the occasion, where
those who came from different corners of the city of Szeged could praise God in complete unity. Small children, teenagers, newlyweds and the elderly could experience complete unity in Jesus, wherever they came from.
This harmony, we could say without exaggeration, love, was certainly discoverable even for passers-by who did not know God from this face. Many people "just casually walking by" stopped to take in this special atmosphere, which is now considered to be mostly lacking.
All of this was supported by the crystal-clear sound, the beautifully put together vocals and the skillful, absolutely contemporary instrumentation, on which the shackles of typical congregational singing could not be caught for a moment.
After this, everyone in Szeged can be confident that such healthy and professional musical and social fusions will be possible in the future.
The domestic performers of this year's KATTÁRS set an example for all those who glorify God in the style of Christian popular music.
