The government has accepted the request of the Fidesz faction and is launching a national consultation on the sanctions, Viktor Orbán announced on his social media page on Wednesday. In his video, the prime minister stated that all citizens of Europe are now paying penalty surcharges for energy due to EU measures.
Among other things, the Prime Minister announced:
"At today's meeting, the government accepted the initiative of the Fidesz faction.
We are launching a national consultation on sanctions.
I ask everyone to express their opinion, because we can only put an end to the rise in energy prices by acting together".
