The capital has run out of money. This was admitted by Gergely Karácsony's deputy. Budapest's account is currently in the red, that is, the capital operates on credit. According to Fidesz, Gergely Karácsony bankrupted Budapest.

Gergely Karácsony's deputy admitted that the capital's money had run out. At his press conference on Thursday, Ambrus Kiss not only stated that Budapest simply ran out of money, but also that their financial situation will only get worse.

"We are already in debt, and otherwise, this loan balance will continue to increase from here on"

- said Ambrus Kiss.

According to the deputy mayor, the fact that the capital is on the verge of bankruptcy is not their fault. They are waiting for help from the government, and if it does not arrive, it is possible that the capital will not pay the government institutions.

Fidesz reacted to this as follows: Despite the constantly growing revenues, Gergely Karácsony and the left bankrupted the country's richest municipality, and in the meantime got involved in political corruption and a money laundering scandal

The announcement of the ruling party reminded that

Gergely Karácsony took over the management of the capital from István Tarlós with more than HUF 200 billion in reserves.

They say: Budapest is threatened by irresponsible and wasteful management, as well as by the fact that Gyurcsány's people are in key positions.
