Vicky Hartzler, Republican representative of the state of Missouri, wrote on Twitter, referring to the error.
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre tried to provide an explanation for Biden's latest blunder after the incident. According to him, in his speech, the President of the United States "acknowledged the incredible work of the representative."
He added that Biden had already planned to receive Jackie Walorski's family at the White House on Friday.
