János Árpád Potápi, the State Secretary for National Policy of the Prime Minister's Office, handed over the new institution, built with the support of the Hungarian government, on Tuesday in Radamos, Muravidék, Slovenia.
The Radamos Early Development Center was built primarily for children of preschool age, where children will attend not only from Radamos, but also from Lendva and the surrounding villages, said the state secretary in a statement to the public media.
"We would like preschool children to find a solution to their developmental difficulties within the framework of this center," emphasized János Árpád Potápi. As he said, the institution serves not only Hungarian children, but also Slovenian children.
"The institution is important to us because Hungarian children and Hungarian mothers are received and cared for by Hungarian-speaking and Hungarian-educated development specialists," he said.

It was realized within the framework of the Carpathian Basin Kindergarten Development Program, from HUF 276 million. The politician also expressed his hope that the new institution will really serve the children's health and development.
János Árpád Potápi reminded him that the investment practically fits into the series that the Hungarian government has implemented in the Muravidék region over the past four or five years.
This represents a subsidy of nearly two billion forints, which appeared in the development and renovation of kindergartens, in their provision of equipment, in support of schools, and in dormitories, said the state secretary, adding that vocational training was also important for them, as well as the subsidies provided to entrepreneurs.
