A migrant claiming to be Afghan stole a boat in a whirlwind, with which, according to him, he wanted to row down Lake Balaton to Italy. The man thought he was in the Czech Republic.
On the evening of October 12, the water police rushed to Balatonszárszó, where a boatman shouted for help. According to the whistleblower, he was unable to row ashore.
IT WAS TURNED OUT THAT THE MIGRANT LIVING IN GERMANY, WHO SAID HE WAS AFGHANISTAN, EARLIER STOLE THE BOAT FROM VERVÉNYES, WHICH HE INTENDED TO SAIL TO ITALY...
The 24-year-old man was rescued and taken to the police station , where proceedings were initiated against him.
